Swarming the Globe

Officially an empty-nester

I’m so Lonesome, I could CRY

We moved our baby to college today. I’m excited for him, but at the same time, sad for myself. I may have cried a little bit during our car ride home. The house is going to be so…..empty and quiet. Well, kind of quiet, Chuck’s still here lol.

So excuse me while I wipe my tears, eat some chocolate, and TRY to fill my emptiness with a little bit of retail therapy (pauses to open Shein cart).

Empty-nesters:

What are some things that you do, or have done, to fill ALL of your extra time?

Sarah’s Empty-Nester Wish List:

  • A Caribbean Life
  • Side-by-side adventures in my very own side-by-side

Come on, Chuck, win that lottery!

We stopped at Ryan’s Roadhouse in St. Johns for a late lunch, early dinner

They boast warm beer and lousy food, so of course we had to stop there! The drinks were icy cold, and their food was delicious. Here’s a picture of my Cluckin’ Awesome Chicken Sandwich. It was delicious.
