It took close to 24 hours, but Macey (our middle child) has finally arrived in Seville, Spain. She is doing a study abroad program through Eastern Michigan University for seven months… studying international business.
It takes guts and hard work. Study abroad isn’t cheap and Macey scrimped and saved every penny herself. We hope she learns, networks, and makes herself more marketable for a future career in business as a result.

We will miss her but are also super excited for her and this life adventure. Frankly, I’m a little bit jealous and really hoping that I get the opportunity to visit her while she’s over there. I mean, I teach business…. What better way for me to improve my teaching skills than to visit with some of her professors and learn about the things that they feel are important to teach their students?

We look forward to hearing more about Macey’s European, and African adventures as a guest blogger. She owes me… I gave her life after all. lol. Kind of kidding.
