The inaugural meeting of our craft club was Saturday. I may be biased but I think it was a HUGE success! There were lots of laughs, and creativity. Two essentials for reducing stress and fighting off the winter BLAHS. Our goal for this meeting was to create a 2026 Vision Board Collage. It was a fun, no pressure, way to kick off our craft creativity for the year.
The ingredients for a successful craft club?
#5 – snacks!
#4 – A place to create
#3 – Beverages – Sips are essential! I don’t think anything more needs to be said.
#2 – Supplies – I’ll admit that I have a craft supply addiction. Please don’t even drive me past a Hobby Lobby right now! But have no fear, all you need for your vision board is: a piece of paper (or cardboard), stickers, magazines, glue sticks, and scissors.
#1 – THE MOST ESSENTIAL ingredient is a fun group of people….those that will sneak an adult magazine (or two) into your stack of collage-ready magazines, and those that will make a fun game out of it!
